The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of Joseph Michael Wimberly, 26 years of age. Wimberly is being charged with one count of Grand Theft. The arrest stems from an investigation that began after the victim filed a complaint. Wimberly was employed as a sub-contractor for Steakhouse Steaks. He was supplied 47 packages of frozen meat that were valued at $799.00 dollars. Wimberly was hired to sell the meat and return the money or the unsold portions of meat to the business. Wimberly failed to return the money or the meat to the business. Wimberly was arrested on April 5, 2010 at approximately 4:50 P.M. without incident.
