The Bay Area Drug Gang Enforcement Squad, also known as BADGES, announces multiple arrests following an investigation, a search warrant, and multiple traffic stops. On April 13, 2010 information was obtained in reference to a group of subjects from Albany, Georgia dealing drugs in the area. The task force conducted an investigation and were granted a search warrant for a residence in Panama City based on their investigation. The search warrant was served at a residence on Mulberry Avenue. Also in connection to the investigation several traffic stops were conducted on vehicles that resulted in 6 arrests, multiple charges being filed, a firearm and several types and amounts of narcotics being removed from the streets of Bay County.
Those arrested were as follows:
Demetrius Weeks, 39 years of age, AKA (Also Known As) Erik Bernard Weeks was charged with Trafficking In A Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone), Possession of Cocaine With Intent To Distribute, Possession Of Marijuana Less Than 20 Grams, Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.
Robert King, 29 years of age, charged with Trafficking In A Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone), and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.
Shawn Michael Keith, 37 years of age, charged with Trafficking In A Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone), Providing False Identification To A Law Enforcement Officer and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.
Santanna Marie Johnson, 23 years of age, charged with charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession Of A Firearm By A Convicted Felon, and a Violation Of Probation on a previous Possession Of Cocaine charge.
Sean Bernard Frazier, 21 years of age, charged with Possession Of Marijuana Less Than 20 Grams.
Jarell Leconta Daniels,26 years of age, charged with a Violation of Probation on a previous Possession Of Cocaine charge.
Further charges are expected to be filed in this case as some of the subjects were operating a stolen vehicle. It should also be noted that most of the suspects list addresses in Albany, Georgia.
