The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of Herbert Wayne Holmes, 49 years of age. Holmes is being charged with the Cultivation of Marijuana. The arrest comes after Patrol Officers with the Panama City Police Department learned about the marijuana and contacted the Special Operation Unit. Investigators with the Special Operations Unit of the Panama City Police Department obtained a search warrant in reference to the indoor marijuana growing operation. Once inside the residence located at 1916 Drummond Avenue they discovered multiple marijuana plants growing and drying out. The Investigation continues and further charges are expected.
