The Panama City Police Department announces additional charges filed against Herbert Wayne Holmes, 49 years of age. On Saturday, April 17, 2010 Holmes was charged with the Cultivation of Marijuana after Patrol Officers with the Panama City Police Department learned about the marijuana and contacted the Special Operation Unit. Investigators with the Special Operations Unit of the Panama City Police Department obtained a search warrant in reference to the indoor marijuana growing operation. Once inside the residence located at 1916 Drummond Avenue they discovered approximately 80 marijuana plants growing and drying out.
Holmes was additionally charged with Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession Of A Controlled Substance Without A Prescription and Renting A Structure For The Manufacturing Of A Controlled Substance.
