The Panama City Police Department announces that they will be conducting enhanced traffic enforcement at the following locations , during the following dates. Motorist are asked to be mindful of their driving habits at all times; however in an effort to increase awareness and public safety we will regularly inform the motoring public of these stepped up enforcement efforts.
The dates and places of our traffic enforcement efforts are as follows:
Monday, May 3rd, 2010 Signal light at 15th and Balboa Avenue and Stop sign at 9th Street and Frankford Avenue.
Tuesday, May 4th, 2010 Blocking the intersection at 15th Street and Jenks Avenue and Highway 231 and Harrison Avenue.
Wednesday, May 5th, 2010 Speed Enforcement at West Highway 98 and the Hathaway Bridge and the 2400 block of Highway 231.
Thursday, May 6th, 2010 Stop sign at 10th Street and Beck Avenue and Safety Zones on Highway 231 and Highway 77.
Friday, May 7th, 2010 Speed Enforcement 700 block East Business Highway 98 and 4300 block West 23rd Street.
We would also like to remind motorist to wear their seat belts and although we are announcing the dates and places of these traffic enforcement efforts we are of course always diligent in our efforts to increase awareness and public safety.
