The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of Steven Avila Martinez, 21 years of age. Martinez is being charged with two counts of Burglary To A Structure and one count of Possession Of Burglary Tools. Patrol Officers with the Panama City Police Department were notified of a burglary in progress at the Panama City Marina. They responded to the location and were able to locate Martinez as he attempted to conceal himself from capture. He was placed under arrest and Detectives with the Panama City Police Department were notified of the arrest. Based on previous investigations and evidence they were able to charge Martinez with other burglaries that have occurred in Panama City. Further charges are also expected to be filed against Martinez. Martinez was arrested on May 4th 2010 at approximately 11:50P.M.
