The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of Morris Martin Garrett, 42 years of age. Garrett is being charged with Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle. The victim filed a complaint in reference to his 1995 Ford F-250 truck being stolen. The vehicle was reportedly taken from the victim's address located at 1164 Mulberry Avenue in Panama City. The victim and Garrett are roommates and Garrett reportedly obtained the victim's keys and took the vehicle without the victim's authorization. The vehicle has been recovered and returned to the owner. Garrett was arrested on May 6, 2010 at approximately 1:30 P.M. without incident.
