Additional Charges and Arrest

The Panama City Police Department announces the additional charges and another arrest in the burglary of vessels on the Panama City Marina. Steven Avila Martinez, 21 years of age. Martinez was charged with two counts of Burglary To A Structure and one count of Possession Of Burglary Tools on May 4th 2010. Additionally he was charged with two counts of Dealing In Stolen Property. Also, Mason Andrew Buckler, 16 years of age was charged with Principle To Burglary and Dealing In Stolen Property. Detectives with the Panama City Police Department continued the investigation in to the burglaries that occurred to vessels on the Panama City Marina and through the investigation learned that Martinez traded two sets of tools for a bicycle. He also sold a cellphone, stereo and flare gun that was stolen property. Buckler assisted Martinez in carrying the stolen property from the area once the burglaries were committed. Buckler was arrested on May 10, 2010 at approximately 12:13 P.M. and Martinez was still in jail from his previous arrest on May 4, 2010.
