
The Panama City Police Department announces that they will be continuing their enhanced traffic enforcement efforts. Motorist are asked to be mindful of their driving habits at all times; however in an effort to increase awareness and public safety we will regularly inform the motoring public of these stepped up enforcement efforts.
The dates and places of our traffic enforcement efforts are as follows:
Monday May 17th 2010 our focus will be Speed Enforcement on Stanford Road North of 23rd and South of Hwy 390 and Red Light at 15th Street and Jenks Avenue.
Tuesday May 18th 2010 our focus will be Red Light at Highway 77 and East 23rd Street and Speed Enforcement on East Avenue South of 11th Street.
Wednesday May 19th 2010 our focus will be Stop Signs at 10th Street and Beck Avenue and Red Light at E. Business Highway 98 and 4th Street.
Thursday May 20th 2010 our focus will be Speed Enforcement on Jenks Avenue North of 23rd Street and South of Baldwin Road and Red Light at U.S. Highway 231 and Transmitter Road.
Friday May 21st 2010 our focus will be Stop Signs at 22nd Street and Mound Avenue and Speed Enforcement on Airport Road West of Jenks and East of Stanford Road.
We would also like to remind motorist to wear their seatbelts and although we are announcing the dates and places of these traffic enforcement efforts we are of course always diligent in our effort to increase awareness and public safety.
