The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of James Lynn Dake, II, 34 years of age. Dake is being charged with being a Felon In Possession Of A Firearm, Driving Under the Influence (Third Violation Within Ten Years), Refusal To Submit To DUI Test and a Violation of Probation on a previous Resisting Officer With Violence charge. The Panama City Police Department received calls in reference to shots fired at approximately 11:03 P.M on May 24, 2010. Officers responded to the area and were able to obtain information in reference to an automobile that left the scene prior to their arrival. Officers patrolled the area and located the vehicle and Dake, who was the driver. Dake was found to be in possession of a 9mm, loaded, Ruger SR9. Dake was arrested at approximately 11:17 P.M. without incident.
