The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of Robert Lynn Taylor, 44 years of age. Taylor is being charged with Aggravated Battery. The arrest comes after an investigation in to the reported crime. The victim and Taylor became involved in a physical altercation. Taylor reportedly knocked the victim to the ground and when the victim was on the ground Taylor hit him in the face/head area with a tree limb. The tree limb was approximately three feet in length and approximately three inches in diameter. The injuries the victim sustained are fractures and deep lacerations that will require reconstructive surgery. Taylor was arrested on June 10th , 2010 at approximately 3:01 P.M. without incident. The Aggravated Battery occurred in the area of East 7th Street and Harmon Avenue.
