Gardner Dickenson Shooting Investigation

The Panama City Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred at the 1025 Everitt Avenue on July 6, 2010 at approximately 8:57 P.M. An altercation between several males occurred in front of the “B” building at Gardner Dickenson Memorial Apartments. During the course of the altercation shots were fired resulting in one male being hit in the back by a bullet. When Officers arrived at the scene the victim of the shooting got off the ground and was treated by EMS at the scene and transported to a local hospital for further treatment. The investigation is ongoing at this time and several leads have been developed, those leads are being followed up on by Detectives with the Panama City Police Department. We will release more information as it becomes available and is not detrimental to the investigation to do so.
