The Panama City Police Department would like to update information in reference to the investigation of a shooting incident that occurred at the 1025 Everitt Avenue on July 6, 2010 at approximately 8:57 P.M. An altercation between several males occurred in front of the “B” building at Gardner Dickenson Memorial Apartments. During the course of the altercation shots were fired resulting in a male victim being hit in the back by a bullet. Detectives with the Panama City Police Department have been working on the case and investigating leads. At approximately 2:00 P.M. we were able to obtain 5 felony warrants for the arrest of Carron Jemel Cobb. Cobb is 16 years of age. He is approximately 5' 07” in height and weighs approximately 130 pounds. His last known address is in Panama City Florida. Cobb has a tear drop tattoo on his right cheek area. Cobb is being charged with Shooting Into An Occupied Dwelling, Armed Trespassing, Attempted Felony Murder, Convicted Felon In Possession Of A Firearm and Discharging A Firearm In Public. There were innocent children and families residing in the apartments when the shooting took place. Bullets struck the buildings and in some cases entered into occupied dwellings. We believe Cobb's actions showed a disregard for the potential loss of life or injury to those that may have been struck by the bullets. We consider Cobb to be armed and dangerous and ask any citizen that comes in contact with Cobb or knows his whereabouts to call their local law enforcement agency or CrimeStoppers. Do not attempt to confront or apprehend Carron Jemel Cobb. We are offering a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of Carron Jemel Cobb. We will release more information as it becomes available and is not detrimental to the investigation to do so.
