The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of Donnie Ray McCormick, 38 years of age. McCormick is being charged with Grand Theft. McCormick and a second person stole several batteries from the victim. The batteries were owned by Broadband Telecommunications and are valued at approximately $958.65. After the batteries were stolen they were sold to Barry's Battery. McCormick and the second individual were employed by the victim. McCormick was arrested at 9:19 A.M on July 14, 2010 without incident. Arrest warrants have been obtained for the second individual involved in this case.
